"Cilama" is how people referred to Cinema in the popular dialect in Tripoli. It was the beating heart of the city between the thirties and the closing years of the 20th century.
I make my way to the capital of North Lebanon, in search of "Cilama", its consecrated temples, its rites, its love stories, and its war stories suspended in time.
Will I find a screen with moving images?
