Cilama

"Cilama" is how people referred to Cinema in the popular dialect in Tripoli. It was the beating heart of the city between the thirties and the closing years of the 20th century. I make my way to the capital of North Lebanon, in search of "Cilama", its consecrated temples, its rites, its love stories, and its war stories suspended in time. Will I find a screen with moving images?
